As Head of Cybersecurity at Closinglock, I oversaw security strategy for a Series B PropTech platform securing real estate transactions. Previously a Staff Security Engineer at Tesla and Global Consultant at IBM, I’ve spent 19+ years building “Frictionless Security” programs—automating compliance (SOC 2), eliminating vulnerability backlogs, and embedding controls directly into engineering pipelines. I treat compliance as an optimization tool to architect frameworks that clear the road for developers to move fast.

When I’m not optimizing for speed I’m optimizing for patience. Alongside my wife I am currently prototyping a craft garlic production protocol. We focus on the slow work of sourcing specific cultivars and extended curing times to develop a depth of flavor that is achieved strictly through time and attention.
